3D printing

FDM and resin, printed and finished here. From a first article to a volume order of the same part.

• Layer resolution down to 0.02 mm (0.0008 in).
• PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, nylon, standard and tough resin.

3D scanning

Need to reverse-engineer a part that has no drawing? We scan it, clean the mesh, and hand you a file — or send that scan straight to print.

• $175/hour, 1-hour minimum.
• Deliverables: .STL, .OBJ, .PLY, .3MF.
• Volumetric accuracy 0.04 + 0.06 mm/m. Resolution down to 0.05 mm.
• 5MP full-color texture when you need it.
• Blue laser and infrared, working distance up to 1.5 m. Dark, reflective, and markerless work.

Design

CAD modeling

A napkin sketch, a photo, or a sample on the counter is enough to start. We model for manufacture, not just for a pretty render.

• 3D and 2D from sketch, picture, or physical sample.
• Modeled for a 3D printed prototype and for a later volume order of the same part.
• Files you can print yourself, or we can take into a volume run.
• No CAD yet? Generate a starting STL from a text description, then we can refine it.
• Quoted after a short conversation — every job is different.

Mid-volume runs

Print a prototype, test it, then we can supply a short run of the same part. How we make the volume lot is our problem — you get parts that match the approved sample.

• Starts from a 3D printed prototype you have already tested.
• Same geometry as the signed-off part.
• Quoted after the prototype is approved — not in the instant calculator.

High-volume runs

When the prototype is proven, we can supply hundreds of the same part. One shop from first print through ongoing supply.

• Lots of 100+ pieces.
• Volume starts after you sign off the 3D printed prototype.
• Repeat orders from a frozen revision.
